Key Observations

All HRGs (852) were successfully reached through interpersonal and mid-media communication sessions.

A total of 1,56,258 condoms were distributed ensuring consistent risk reduction.

100% linkage achieved between reactive cases and ART centres.

The project demonstrated effective coverage and service delivery with zero dropouts in ART linkage.
Targeted Intervention
Conclusion
The Targeted Intervention Project at Lakhimpur Kheri, implemented by Gramin Vikas Sewa Samiti with support from UPSACS, has shown significant progress in outreach, prevention, and treatment linkage during FY 2024–25. The consistent reach among High-Risk Groups and strong ART linkage reflect the effectiveness and dedication of the field staff and peer educators in controlling HIV transmission within the district.
